inomat GmbH was founded in March 2001. It has taken the company less than three years to establish itself as one of the most important manufacturers in chemical nanotechnology.

Since 2002 ino^® is the all-rights-reserved brand of inomat. Stepwise the six different product families ino^®wool, ino^®decor, ino^®flex, ino^®dur, ino^®sil and ino^®flamm were brought to the market.

The work of inomat started in March 2001 with a desk, a computer, a phone and with – hopefully – good ideas. After a few months the first production started using equipment which was rented at our partners and friends from Nano-X GmbH.

Again after a few months in February 2002 we decided that production at rented equipment would not make sense anymore. Because of this we rented rooms of about 150 square meters in Bexbach. There our facility was continuously growing up to about 400 square meters in April 2009.

At first an own desk, then own equipment. What could be next? An own facility. In May 2009 inomat bought a facility in Neunkirchen. 240 square meters of office and laboratory, a production plant of 525 square meters on an area of 2800 square meters in total. With a lot of possibilities for a further expansion.
